This Import Bank Statement Utility for Pastel Accounting and Pastel Evolution is the answer to all your bank recon problems!

The Import Bank Statement Utility imports a Bank Statement downloaded from either ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank or Investec Bank over the Internet, and then exports the transactions into Pastel Accounting or Pastel Evolution. Before the import is done, you are given the opportunity to either manually or automatically assign the General Ledger, Customer or Supplier account codes for each Transaction.

• Creates a file for Import into Pastel Accounting. (One for payments and one for receipts.)
• Link one or more transactions to a Cost Code.
• Automatically determines period from Transaction Date.

Pastel Evolution

• Creates a new Cashbook Batch in Pastel Evolution. (No import required.)
• Link one or more transactions to a Project.

General

• Import Bank statements downloaded in Microsoft Money (OFX) format from any Bank that provides statements in this format. This makes the Import Bank Statement Utility available to Pastel Accounting and Pastel Evolution Users throughout the WORLD!
• Import Bank statements downloaded in CSV format from: ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Mercantile and Investec Bank.
• Import Netcash Debit Order processing service. If you make use of a different debit order service we will be able to add their transaction file layouts to the program.
• Import Custom Bank Statements. These are statements that you create using a program like Microsoft Excel.
• Auto Allocation: By using a very simple form in the application you are able to create your own Auto Allocations. This will allow the Import Bank Statement Utility to automatically assign General Ledger, Customer or Supplier account codes to transactions. Auto Allocations can be created for an entire company or a specific Bank Account.
• Split Bulk Deposits or payments: The Import Bank Statement Utility has a safety feature to prevent calculation or typing errors when a transaction is split.
